About Herr Plumbing

Herr Plumbing is family owned and operated. Rick and Peggy Herr started the business out of their home in West Des Moines in October of 1996. It didn’t take long for the company to outgrow the home office necessitating a move to a bigger facility. In 2002 we relocated the office and shop to Urbandale and have been here since. We are very grateful to our loyal customer base that has been our main stay and has fostered our growth. A large percentage of our sales are repeat customers and referrals, which speaks for itself about the quality of work coming out of our team of plumbers and office staff.

Our plumbers are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They make sure you are completely satisfied before leaving the job site. They will explain to you what they are doing and include you in any decisions that need to be made.

You will find our office staff to be friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We are not like the cable company and tell you we will be there sometime between noon and 5:00. Who has time for that? We work with you and your schedule, give you an appointed time and do our very best to arrive on time.
